Spectrotel Private Line Service is a traditional, dedicated, point-to-point data service between specific locations used exclusively to securely transmit data between locations using Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) framing.  This service is often used by multi-location enterprises that require a protected, flexible and cost effective means to communicate across a network for such applications as bulk data transfer, disaster recovery, distance learning, engineering, and video conferencing. Available bandwidths range from DS1/T-1 (1.5 Mbps) to DS3/T-3 (45 Mbps)

Spectrotel’s premium Ethernet over Copper solution is delivered via Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) technology and is provisioned via multiple twisted copper pair loops. The use of multiple loops offers a distinct level of redundancy allowing continuity of services in the event of individual loop failures. EOC is available in speeds of 5MB to 45MB in select major metropolitan areas across the nation.

Spectrotel DSL Service is a cost-effective, always on, high-speed internet connection that is delivered over existing telephone lines and can be used with traditional voice service simultaneously at an extremely affordable price. The service includes up to 15 email accounts with 10 Mbps storage each and options for dynamic or static IP addresses at speeds from 192 Kbps to 1.5 Mbps depending upon line characteristics and qualification. DSL is perfect for small businesses or for telecommuting.

Spectrotel’s DIA Service over DS1 (T1.5) access provides 1.5 Mbps of symmetrical bandwidth over a dedicated, standard, time-division multiplexed, facility.  Multiple DS1s can be bonded to provide up to 12Mbps of DIA. Speeds up to 45 Mbps are available over DS3 access. Static IP addresses are included. This solution is ideal for small and medium sized businesses to allow multiple users to share a single facility for fast and reliable access to the internet, to transfer large files, and to establish a secure telecommuting program.

Spectrotel Internet Over Wireless (IOW) Service provides wireless data connectivity to the Internet and to private data networks through the use of Virtual Private Network (VPN) security services. It is ideal for backup data networking solutions, and it is well suited for low data usage, difficult to reach, or temporary locations, such as M2M devices, remote offices, branches, or kiosks.

Spectrotel MPLS services utilizes Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) operating over Spectrotel provided IP transport circuits (OSI layer 3) to create a virtual private network that is secure, scalable, and protocol agnostic.  MPLS networks are available as point-to-point virtual private circuits or any-to-any virtual private networks.

Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) provides Ethernet-based, any-to-any connectivity (traditionally OSI layer 2) between geographically dispersed sites using MPLS over IP (OSI layer 3).  This enables Spectrotel to offer Ethernet connectivity between locations that may not be in the same LATA where native Ethernet service would otherwise be available via TLS or Fiber EPL.

EVPLAN is an Ethernet Virtual Private Network available with Spectrotel TLS through the use of EVPLAN Ethernet Virtual Circuits (EVCs), which provide the capability of a fully-meshed, any-to-any, Ethernet closed user group within the customer TLS network.  EVPLAN EVCs are available at speeds from 1 Mbps to 1 Gbps.

Spectrotel Enhanced Managed Service options offer additional proactive monitoring, tracking and reporting features in addition to those available with the basic Managed Router Service or Managed IAD Service.  Spectrotel regularly polls and collects usage statistics from the Spectrotel provided customer premises equipment (CPE) or CPE s customers purchase from Spectrotel.  Enhanced Service includes, proactive monitoring, notification, testing, and resolution based on polling results, and it includes reports with graphs and statistics along with access to Spectrotel’s network management system via the customer portal for real-time status and reports.
